I am filing a 1099-Misc. Can I submit my rideshare costs (uber, lyft, etc.) from home to work as an expense? What about from work to school?

No - You cannot deduct the miles from home to work --these are commuting costs. Nor can you deduct the miles from work to school - this is considered personal mileage.
