@keshavpk - why do you think you should have a credit? Normally, they take one of three forme
1) withholdings from your W-2 (these are technically payments but do reduce what you owe)
2) estimated payments you made (these are technically payments but do reduce what you owe)
3) reductings in tax, generally this relates to having children or low income, other people in your household that are dependents, tax credits for purchase of an EV or energy related tax credits.
