Do I need to mail in Form 8949 with my California return? Its currenlty more than 50 pages.
I am mailing in my california state tax return. I used the import feature from robinhood which imported every sell transaction I made during the year. This information got printed in Form 540 Schedule D and Form 8949. Do I need to mail these?

My apologies. No, you do not need to include it - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/7345277">https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/7345277</a>

Thanks for the clarification. I already have 1040 Schedule D which contains the summary of gains and losses. Do I need 1099 B or some other form received from the brokerage firm if I am not sending form 8949?

No. The only reason you would need to mail in (include) the 1099-B is if there was federal income tax withheld, on the 1099-B.
