Can I file taxes again

I’m in school, I got my first job in 2018 November and I have filed my tax returns for 2months($8000) through credit karma in 2019 January. I have revived $600 total returns(state and frderal including). My friend also filed taxes in 2019 March for $6000 through Turbo, he received more than $1000. Why I got very less and is there any chance to file returns again??

if so, can I add my school fee receipts to get returns??

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

If you left income off of your 2018 return  or made some other error,  you can prepare and mail an amended return called a Form 1040X.  But if you are a student and you are being claimed as a dependent on someone else's (parents?) return, you cannot get the education credits--your parents get the education credit on their tax return.

Perhaps your friend who got a bigger refund also had more tax withheld from his paychecks.  You would have to compare your Form 1040's side by side to see where the differences are.
