Where do I add the 5K gift to grandchild for education fund?
I earned some extra money and decided to give the total (5K) to my grandson's parents to set up a 529. Where do i enter this deduction or contribution.
Sorry, a gift to an individual, no matter who it is or what it is for, is not deductible.
