I'm not receiving a 1098-t for 2016 but attended graduate school half time in the spring, should I enter the tuition billed in january of 2016 on my taxes?

My loans covered the bill that was charged in January of 2016, but it was included on the 1098-t of 2015. I'm unsure if I should include this information for my educational charges of 2016. Thank you

If the expenses were paid in 2016, they should be entered on your 2016 tax return. They should not have been entered on your 2015 tax return even if they were included in the billed amount on your 2015 1098-T.
