TurboTax removing support for ItsDeductible AGAIN

NOT AGAIN! I just got the announcement that "On October 21, 2025, ItsDeductible will be discontinued." We've already been through this. I thought this tool was safe, but it seems not. It's a tremendously helpful integration and it saves us hours. We donate all year long and need a robust way to track everything, and then have the amounts flow through to returns. Please reconsider sunsetting support for ItsDeductible. Thousands of users rely on it, I would imagine.

Hi all - I was an ItsDeductible user for over 15 years, and was disappointed to see it getting shut down. I looked at a few alternatives, started building a Google Sheet with AI-sourced FMV data, and then decided to go bigger.

We launched ItsDeducted in March 2026. I use a lot of AI tools in my work and saw a real opportunity to use modern tech (AI) to make donation tracking MUCH faster (note: I got this launched in time to finish up my own 2025 tax prep - 273 donated items tracked in 22 minutes total time spent.)

A few noteable callouts:

You can search for individual items like you did in ItsDeductible (note: don't do this if you don't need to

)
you can upload a photo with one or numerous items and the AI will identify everything for you (MUCH faster than one-by-one searches)
if you already have a list, you can either copy and paste right into the app or upload a spreadsheet (csv/xls/xlsx)
unlike ItsDeductible and other tools using fixed/static catalogs, you won't see the "Item not found" when adding/importing and you won't need to create all the custom items
export indiviual or full-year donation reports/summaries to PDF/Excel/TXF

There's a free tier and it takes about 20 seconds to get started. We're making improvements all the time, so would be thrilled to get feedback from the community!
