What do you mean by custom item?

Is there an item that can't be found in these categories?

Yes. I purchased a brand new 8' x 10' rug for $169 from Amazon, and then decided not to give it as a gift. I gave it to Goodwill. How do I add it to It's Deductible in the custom area? I assume I will take a 50% deduction (roughly $85).

How do I enter my 2019 charitable donations in TurboTax?

You have two options:

Enter your charitable donations in our free ItsDeductible program which is available year-round. When tax time comes, simply import your donations from ItsDeductible into TurboTax.
Manually enter your charitable donations directly into TurboTax:
1. Open your return in TurboTax.
2. In the search box, search for donations and then select the Jump to link in the search results.
3. Answer Yes to Do you want to enter your donations for 2019?
4. Follow the instructions to enter your donations.

Up until last year I have been able to add a custom item using itsDeductible within the TurboTax software. This is for items that do not fit into a category description, but were donated nonetheless. Where did this feature go for 2019?
