Question

Trying to figure out how to enter Foreign Taxes Paid. I have two statements. 4 Individual Countries I paid tax on Dividends and 1 RIC that Paid foreign tax.

How do I get to the Form 1116 to enter the data

TurboTax Online

Level 7

Enter the dividends as a Form 1099-DIV and indicate in Box 7 the amount of foreign tax paid.

For the RIC, use Form 1099-DIV but select "RIC" instead of a foreign company as the origin of the income.

To get to the Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116) in TurboTax Online, go to Deductions & Credits>Foreign Tax Credit
