I'm an over the road truck driver (company, paid on w2) and I can't seem to find an answer to whether or not I can deduct items that are bought for the truck to make live more comfortable on the road. examples include:
tv, ps4 (and accessories), bicycle, cb radio, mini fridge.

Other items that I can't quite figure out how to add are my cell phone and cell phone plan, do I add those as a job-related expense? And if I bought two phones during the year, can I deduct both (first was broken while at work).

If you are away overnight on a regular basis, you can claim a deduction for personal necessities (for a truck driver). I think you could make a good case for the expenses you have listed, except maybe the bicycle, click here for more information.

The cell phones and cell phone plan would be deductible, although you should allocate between personal and business use.
