Should I note property tax paid separately if it was covered as part of my mortgage payments? Or is this only if I were to have directly paid it, outside a mortgage loan?

If you have entered the property tax on the screen along with your mortgage interest information since it was probably reported to you along with your mortgage interest, then that is all you need to do.
Do not enter it a second time in the 'property tax' section or it will be counted twice.
