Yes, Schedule E Line 19 is used to report other expenses that are not included in the main categories. You would need to enter a description and an amount.

Each line must have a description and an amount. If you aren't able to edit the description, enter zero for the amount.

Does this mean a separate line for every item, e.g. towels, glassware, dishes, paintings & other decorative items, or can they be put into miscellaneous categories?  What would those categories be?

When you enter a custom description for Other Expenses, you choose how to group the expenses. Furnishings, supplies, linen, or just "miscellaneous" is acceptable. Be sure you keep good records.

On Schedule E line 19, it says other and lets you input the subject, and amount. However in Turbo Tax there is a line "Other Taxes", I presume Turbotax automatically inputs "Taxes" in line 19 "Other" section, am I correct ?, if that's the case how can I change the subject of line 19 in Turbotax ?
