My mobile home was destroyed by fire. Suspected arson. Loss includes $28,000 home, $15,000 contents, $6,000 demolition. No insurance. How do I report this?

You would report this as a Casualty Loss, under Other Deductions and credits, Disasters, theft, and other property loss or damage. Read the screens carefully, and click on all the blue links with Learn More or because there is a lot of information in the program to help you figure the amount of your deduction.
