Solved

Last year I purchased a manufactured home on a lot, but paid in full without a loan or mortgage. Do I qualify any kind of tax break? I'm a first time homeowner.

You could deduct property taxes if you paid them and sales tax as itemized deductions on Schedule A if you have enough to itemize. The standard deduction has been greatly increased for 2018.

Property Tax

  2. In the search box, search for "real estate taxes" and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
  3. Answer Yes to the question Did you pay property or real estate taxes in 2017?
  4. Enter your property/real estate taxes on the next screen.
