Are you trying to enter itemized deductions?

The only thing you can enter about property tax is what you already PAID in 2022.  You cannot enter anything about a property tax bill you will be paying in August of 2023.  A bill you pay in 2023 will go on your 2023 tsx return next year.

Or are you trying to do something else?

If you are on the credits and deduction section of the federal return and being asked about your property taxes after your mortgage interest, this is to itemize  your return.  If you are not itemizing you do not need to enter this information.   Your itemized deductions include medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of your AGI, mortgage interest, property taxes and other state and local taxes, and charitable contributions.

If your itemized expenses are not more than your standard deduction, you will not see a benefit in entering your property taxes.
