My partner claimed our daughter and received child credit. This time around I would like to claim but want to make sure the IRS know she received that credit already

If someone else got the Advance Child Tax Credit you don't enter that.   You can get the full amount on your return.  Don't worry about their return or what they got.  You say No you did not get it.

Only one of you should be able to claim the child as a dependent.

If you are both a parent to the child, and the child lived with you each the same amount of time (more than half the year), the person that earned the higher income should claim the child.

If that is you, and you claim the child, you cannot claim the payments your partner received.

If you are eligible, you will get the full credit, including the amount your partner received as advance payments.

When your partner files, they will need to report the advance payments they received. The payments may be "forgiven" through "repayment protection" or may be required to be paid back.
