I now work for the board of Education in NJ and have to travel from my office to three different schools every day. Can I deduct my mileage on my taxes?

Unfortunately, if you're an employee, these expenses are no longer deductible in tax years 2018 through 2025 due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) that Congress signed into law on December 22, 2017.
