I have two HSA accounts, how do I enter the second 1099-SA

Due to a change in accounts last year, we ended up with two HSA accounts. I see the option to add one 1099-SA, but not the second. How do I enter a second 1099-SA?

Click on the Federal Taxes tab, then Wages & Income, then scroll down to Less Common Income and select the first item in the list, 1099-SA, HSA, MSA. On the next screen, you'll select Health Savings Account (HSA) from the list of possibilities.

Hit "Continue" and you'll land on the summary screen that says Here's What We Have So Far, which will show any 1099-SA forms already entered. You'll also see a button for Add Another 1099-SA. Click on that, and follow the prompts to enter another 1099-SA form (you can repeat this process as many times as you need to enter multiple HSA forms).

what happened to this option? there is an Add button, but it takes me to the 1099-SA form already filled out. If i update with new info, it deletes the first 1099-SA form.

I did a mock return in both the online and download version of TurboTax and did not encounter the same issue. When I hit the + Add button, the 2nd form I entered started out blank and added successfully.

If you are using the online version of TurboTax, you may want to try deleting cache and cookies in your browser. Following are two guides on how to do that:

How to delete cookies

Then retry your entries again.

If you are using the download version of TurboTax, have you allowed it to update? You can check for updates by:

Open TurboTax
For Windows, click Online at the top and select "Check for Updates"
For Mac: Click the "TurboTax" menu (next to the Apple icon and select "Check for Updates", or just quit and reopen the app..
Follow prompts to download and install any available updates.
