I have questions about the property tax deduction data entry screen...why does it say I've maxed the $10,000 limit when I've only entered $2535?

Also, the property tax entry screen doesn't seem to provide an option for entering vehicle property tax, only real estate property tax.  I finessed the entry by adding lines vehicle property tax entry lines in the real estate property tax popup.  1) I noticed that the tax amount due did not change when I added the vehicle property taxes (~$150), I expected tax due to decline.  I wonder if this is a consequence of the apparently erroneous message about hitting the maximum $10,000 limit.  2) Is my finesse of including vehicle property tax in the real estate property tax popup likely to raise an IRS audit flag?  3) When is the $10,000 limit error going to be corrected?   UPDATE: Apologies...found the personal property tax entry screens.

It could be your state income tax withholding from paychecks. This amount goes towards your $10,000 state and local tax cap as well.
