I have itemized deductions on my taxes but my wife doesn’t will that make us get audited?

If you are filing separate returns then, yes.    If one spouse itemizes then both must itemize even if one has nothing to itemize - they are not allowed to take the standard deduction.   The IRS does check for that and will send a bill to the spouse that took the standard deduction.

Is there a reason you are not filing Joint?  Joint is almost always better.  And Deductions is one of the main reasons.  Is one of you filing Head of Household?
