How to post or (enter) the mortgage interest received from payer (borrower) on my tax form. Also where do I enter my charitable contributions and real estate taxes?

For the mortgage interest received, you enter as "seller financed interest income"

  1. Type interest income - seller financed and click search/find.
  2. Click on Jump to 1099-INT
  3. Answer No to "Did you receive any interest income?"
  4. This will send you back out to Your income page
  5. Then click on Start or Edit/Add next to "Interest from Seller-Financed Loans"
  6. You can answer the questions to enter it there

To enter Charitable Contributions:

  1. Open (continue) your return in TurboTax.
  2. In the search box, search for donations and then select the "Jump to" link in the search results.
  3. Answer Yes to Did you make any donations to charity?
  4. Answer No to Do you have an account with ItsDeductible Online?
  5. On the next screen, answer Yes to enter your donations for 2017.
  6. Continue with the onscreen instructions.
