Solved

Hi! I'm using Turbotax Deluxe and doing my Arizona return. It won't give me credit for a $400 public school tax credit and also a $400 charitable organization.

I'm filing married jointly and am positive I did not claim these two deductions on my Federal Return.
Last year it did not give me this concern.
Any help is greatly appreciated since I can't get through to a real person at the 800

The school credit goes to form 322 while the charity goes to form 321. These 2 amounts flow to form 301, line 61 for a total that then carries to your main form 140, line 51 for a nonrefundable credit. This amount reduces your tax liability but is not refundable. Please check your tax liability on line 48. The amount on line 51 can not be more than your liability on line 48.

If you have paid for your return, you can do a print preview to see all of your forms.

    1. look on the left sidebar,
    2. select tools
    3. select print center

If not paid, you can do a preview.

    • If you are using the online version:
      1. Go to the state return and enter it
      2. go to Tax Tools,
      3. then select Tools,
      4. select View Tax Summary,
      5. you should see your state summary, if not, look on the left side and select it.
    • In the desktop program, switch to forms mode.

You may need to go ahead and pay for the return so you can see the actual forms to find the issue. To do this:

    1. look on the left sidebar,
    2. select tools
    3. select print center
    4. select pay now
    5. Select Print, save or preview this year's return
