Do I have points to claim on taxes?

We refinanced our home in 2012. The only amount similar in our refinancing papers to what I read in the TurboTax faqs was "Our Origination Fees" and that was for $45.  I don't know if that is part of the "points" or if I even have them to deduct.  There was nothing on the 1098 form for points.

If you paid points they would be indicated on the 1098 that you received from your lender.  However, the $45 origination fee would be tax deductible.  Please refer to the Link below for more information:
