Am I still eligible for the increase in child tax credit of $2000 per child if I filed my taxes before Feb 1, 2018?

The child tax credit increase does not go into effect until the 2018 Tax Year which you will file in 2019. For taxes being filed this tax season the credit is still $1000. So if you filed using TurboTax, answered the child tax credit questions and were eligible you would have already received the maximum amount allowed for the 2017 Tax Year.
