Score drop

Hi,

 I was wondering what was the occurrence on my credit account that made my credit score dropped 27 points so.  I pay all of my bills on time but the only thing that I think would hinder is my student loan which is their said they sent a bill to collections, which I paid on the day of.

But that could account for the drop (and probably more).
