Where do you file loan interest on an RV account if you didn't get 1098 from lender?

To enter mortgage interest (Form 1098):

  • Open (continue) your return if it's not already open.
  • Click on Orange box “Take me to my return” (if shown)
  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Under Your Home
  • On Mortgage Interest, click on the Start or Revisit button
  • Be sure to choose "The seller is financing this loan and I didn't receive a 1098." when that option when the question screen 'Do any of these uncommon situations apply to your loan with [financing institution's name]?
