What if I paid for books with my school refund?

Paying for books with a tax refund check is the same as paying for the books out of pocket. You should reply that you paid for books out of pocket.

@desireebrooks48 - In your question you said "school refund," not tax refund. Did you pay for the books with your income tax refund, or did you get a refund from the school for some reason? If you got a refund from the school, was it a refund of tuition that you paid or something else?
