We refinananced a HEL. We have a 1098 for interest paid on the refinanced loan, but only a letter stating amount of interest paid prior. How do I claim the interest?

You can enter Mortgage Interest that is not reported on Form 1098.

Type '1098' in the Search window, then 'Jump to 1098'.

Choose 'Add Another 1098' and enter your Lender's name.

Choose 'None of these apply' on the next screen (screenshot).

Then enter your interest and other loan details, and Continue to indicate that 'this loan was paid off or refinanced..'.
