The deductions and credits page for my 1098-E won't let me continue. The lender name box is highlighted pink even though I have my institution listed.

It has a red message underneath the box: "Up to 24 characters allowed"

Try Shortening the name from the end, to under 24 characters. Also, if you imported the entry originally, try deleting it and select to Enter it Myself. If there was something on the import triggering the error message, that will work around the problem.
