What box number are you seeing that information? In general, you will be using Boxes 1,5, and 6 values as deductible items on your schedule A.

On my 1098 form I have a value in the interest reconciliation part of interest paid, is this a value I need to enter in?

In box 1, I have the mortgage interest received amount. However, within the statement, I have a differing amount that says interest reconciliation of interest paid.  Which amount am I entering?
