Parent Plus Loan

Can I  claim the interest on my parent's PLUS Loan? The loan is under my parent's name however I have been paying for it and I would like to claim the 3,874.00 interest I paid under the 1098-E. Again the loan is not under my name however can I still claim this on my taxes?

If you are not personally responsible for this debt then you cannot enter the interest paid on your tax return.
