I am trying to add a school that my wife went to but it doesn't ask me to input any information about the school including the EIN number. It just asks about expenses.

To enter the 1098T information:

1. Log into your return

2. select Pick Up Where I Left Off

3. In the top, towards the right corner, locate the Magnifying glass/search  

4. Type 1098t

5. Enter

6. Select the first entry Jump to 1098t

The program will look different depending on what you have done:

*With no information entered, it will ask for the college name, enter the name and click continue.

The next page asks for the 1098T information.

*Because it sounds like you have been entering some information, it will put you into the questions area.

Continue answering the questions until you reach Your Education Expenses Summary

Click on Edit to enter the college information.

Click ADD A Student if that is the problem.
