Not allowing me to claim low income credit when I was a resident of the state from 2022-2023 going to school. Why is that. Wouldn’t allow me to do so last year either.

Which state? Which exact credit? Did you have income? If not, in general there are age and earnings requirements to claim most credits.

What state are you referring to for the low-income tax credit?

General rule: for tax purposes, out of state students are not considered residents of the state they are going to school in.
