My tuition is covered by 529 plan. I am taking AOTC for $2500 credit on $4000 of expenses. Why does TT reduce my eligible QTP by $10000 instead of $4000?

Did you enter $4,000 on the screen asking how much of expenses you wanted to allocate to the credit when you went through the 1098-T interview?
