My students College EIN is not being accepted, why

It's possible that the EIN on your tax document is incorrect, or that it doesn't match what the IRS has in their system. You can contact the college to determine if the # you have is correct. If they confirm the accuracy of the EIN, your only option now would be to print and mail the return. See if the TurboTax FAQ below offers assistance.

Below is a link that may be useful; you can search by name for the EINs of nonprofits, including schools (just to check if the EIN happens to match the one on the tax reporting form).
