Is there a way to see a breakdown of my estimated refund? It didn't increase after completing EITC info that says I qualify for over $1200.

The number at the top of the screen while filing already said I was due to get $76 back this year. I then answered the EITC qualification questions, and TurboTax shows that for 2021 I qualify for over $1200, but that number at the top of the screen still says my expected refund is $76. I went all the way through to the review section, but the number didn't change.

The 76 already included the EITC.  As soon as you entered your income it was added.  Going through the EITC section just tells you how much you got for it.   So the 1200 must have reduced the tax you owed into a refund.

For 2021 check 1040 line 27a for the EIC.   You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return before filing

Yes, you can see the Tax Summary while still working on your tax return. Here is how to see it:

  1. On the left side menu, select  Tax Tools near the bottom.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select View Tax Summary from the list at the bottom of the box.

You should look for Total tax  and Total payments. Your refund is your total payments minus your total tax.

Total payments includes Earned Income Credit and taxes withheld from your pay.
