If I don't have a form for my grant, for school? What do I do?

School - I have the1098 for scholarship, but I don't have anything for the grant.

The 1098-T should report the expenses paid to the school as well as any scholarships/grants that the student received which went through the school.

If you received a Grant that is not listed on the 1098-T, go back to the "Here's Your Education Summary" screen and click Edit next to "Scholarships/Grants (for all schools)". Report the Grant.

The Education section is located under Federal, Deductions & Credits, scroll down to "Education"

If my son received a grant to pay for the tuition of his dual enrollment course, why am I getting a tax credit for it. I, myself, did not pay for anything.
