If I am getting Social Security and I worked a little in 2025 can I claim any room and board I paid?

You posted in the education section.  Being on social security does not affect the tax benefits for education. Room and board (R&B)  are not qualified expenses for a tuition credit or tax free scholarship. R&B are qualified expenses for a 529 plan distribution.

Room and board are personal expenses and are not tax deductible.
