I was a full-time student from August 21, 2023 to December 13, 2023. Do you count August and December as a full month or as half a month with regards to full-time status?

The Fall semester at my college starts on August 21. December 13 is the last day of student attendance. I need to know whether or not to count these two months as a full month each (which would total out to 5 months as a full-time student) or as a half month.

Yes, that is 5 months.

It is at least part of at least 5 months, so the partial months each count.

The rule is parts of 5 calendar months. So, even 8/31/23 to 12/1/23 would count as 5 months.
