my daughter received a scholarship and the amount billed in box two does not tie to both semesters

If you paid more than the amount reflected in Box 2 of your 1098-T you can select the option in TurboTax to indicate the amount you actually paid, simply access the 1098-T in TurboTax and under the entry for Box 2 you will see "What if this is not what "the Student" paid to this school?" click on this and you will be able to enter the actual amount paid.
