I use FAFSA for school. I'm under 24. I haven't lived with my mom in about 3 or 4 years now and I have made over $5,000 each year. How should she and I go about filing?

If your mom isn't paying to take care of you then you aren't her dependent anymore.  You should each file your own tax return and she can't claim you as a dependent.

But what about the FAFSA portion?
