I paid college tuition for my daughter Jan -May 2016. She graduated, moved out of state and earned more than $4050. Should I be able to claim the tuition on my tax?

I paid college tuition for my daughter Jan -May 2016. She graduated, moved out of state and earned more than $4050. Should I be able to claim the tuition on my tax?

You must claim her as a dependent to get credit for the education expenses. If she did not live with you more than half the year and made more than $4050, you can't claim her.
