I just need to know if I filed my education expenses correctly for college tuition.

I have not received my 1098-t form from the university I attended in 2016 yet. But, I totaled my expenses starting in January 2016 through December 2016 based on reports on my universities website with my personal account information. Is this okay? The payment reports included loans, supply expenses, books, etc.

No. You must wait for your 1098-T. The entry in TurboTax must match what is on your 1098-T. Have you looked online for your school to see if you can download the 1098-T?

I looked for that option and could not find it. So I should probably just save my info I have put in already and then wait to fill out the deductions section once my 1098-t comes in?.
