I had a federal parent plus student loan taken out in my mothers name, but I make all of the payments on the loan. Can I claim the interest paid with her 1098-E form?

Based on instructions from the IRS, only the person whose name appears on the loan can claim it. So if your name is on the loan, you can, if not, you may not be able to. Please see the IRS instructions attached and TurboTax FAQ below for more information.
