I got a scholarship that was sent to my school. 20% went to my my tuition, and 80% was refunded to me for rent. I was not issued a 1098-T, how do I report these funds?

To enter your scholarship income not reported on a 1098-T take the following steps after you are fully logged into your return:

• Federal
• Deductions & Credits
• See Full List
• Expenses & Scholarships (1098-T)
• Yes to Do you want to enter your higher education expenses
• Select Student Name hit continue
• Continue through questions until you come to Scholarships & Financial Aid (you'll need to enter your school info)
• Select Yes to Did you receive a Scholarship or Grant in 2018
• Enter your Scholarship Income
