I don't think I claimed my student loan interest last year. How do I find out if I did, and if I didn't can I add it to this years tax return??

You can check to see if you claimed your student loan interest deduction last year by reviewing your tax return from last year (2016). If you filed your return using TurboTax, see link below that explains how to print/download a copy of the return. The student loan interest deduction is found on Form 1040 line 33 (as shown in the attached screenshot).
You won't be able to add it to this years' tax return. In order to claim the student loan interest for last year (2016), you will need to amend your 2016 return.
