I claimed myself on my tax return. I am curious if my parents are still able to file my student loan tax return

Are you referring to the student loan interest or tuition expenses?

Your parent cannot claim a tuition credit or deduction, if you are not their dependent.

They can claim the student loan interest deduction, of they paid it and were legally obligated to pay it (they were co-borrowers or co-signers).

But, why did you claim yourself?  With the tax law change, effective 2018, most students will get the same refund whether they claim themselves or not. The personal exemption has been eliminated and the standard deduction increased.
