Yes, you are required to file a Colorado return. However, you may not quite owe that much in Colorado (it depends). You are a Colorado resident because you are a student, and going to college is considered a temporary absence which does not change your state residency. In this case, you first prepare a Nebraska nonresident return (not a resident return), and then a Colorado resident return. This way, Colorado will give you a credit for the tax you pay to Nebraska on the income you earn there. Hopefully, this credit has not yet been applied, and your Colorado tax will be lowered (or even covered) by your Nebraska tax.
