How to and where to go back to hope credit, under education credits. pretty sure i checked that i did already get the credit instead of checking i didn't . Help

where do i go exactly to change this. I tried to hit "back" right away but it didnt come up. It gave me the credit in my tax return but the wrong thing is checked and i dont want irs shorting me the money.

You can revisit the "education information" sections and edit your answers to the interview questions.

• Federal Taxes
• Deductions & Credits
• Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T) Edit
• Click Edit next to your name
• Scroll down to "Education Information" Edit

Walk through the interview until you get to the screen you need.
