How do you get Lifetime Earning Credit to show on TurboTax after 3.5 years of college?

To pay for four years of college, you pay over five years.  Fall of first year and spring of last year.  The american opportunity credit is only for four years.  How do you get the lifetime earning credit to come up for that last year or spring semester of the graduating year?  No scholarships,  were provided so don't think that is an answer.

How do you get Lifetime Earning Credit to show on TurboTax after 3.5 years of college?

You will be asked how many times, in the past, you  (or your parents) claimed the American opportunity credit (AOTC). When you answer 4, the program will exclude you from claiming the AOTC and default to the lifetime earning credit (LLC)

The answer you provided is accurate.  Unfortunately, for me, the adjusted gross income was the issue.  The error message was "There were no net qualified distribution expenses" which sent me down the wrong rabbit hole trying to figure out the issue.  Thanks for your help
